Anne Mejeur, IBCLC, RLC, CE has been helping women breastfeed since 1975, and has been instructing women in childbirth for 15 years.    She is a member of the International Lactation Consultant Association (ILCA), The Breastfeeding Coalition of Palm Beach County and the Florida Lactation Consultants Association (FLCA). She teaches childbirth classes for Healthy Mothers/ Healthy Babies of Palm Beach County. She has six grown children who were totally breastfed and has four grandchildren who also benefited from breastfeeding. 

Socorro Caanen, IBCLC, RLC, CE has been helping breastfeeding families since 1988, became a Certified Lactation Educator in 1994 and has been a Childbirth Educator for 9 years, and is also Doula trained. She is a member of the Florida Lactation Consultants Association (FLCA) and the Breastfeeding Coalition of Palm Beach County. Socorro has been working as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant in the community since 2000.  She and her husband are the proud parents of a son who was breastfeed. 

Denise L. Caruso, BS, IBCLC, RLC has helped support and counsel breastfeeding families since 1992. She was trained as a WIC breastfeeding Peer Counselor in 1992, served on the board of the Palm Beach County Breastfeeding Task Force in 1998, and has worked in a hospital based lactation office setting for the past 6 years.  She is a member of the Florida Lactation Consultants Association and the Breastfeeding Coalition of Palm Beach County. Denise has been happily married for 20 years and has joyfully breastfed two children.


 


 


International Board Certified Lactation Consultants are also known as IBCLCs.  The IBCLC is an allied health care professional, who by meeting the eligibility requirements and passing an independent examination, possesses the necessary skills, knowledge and attitudes to provide quality breastfeeding assistance to mothers and babies.
