Our one-hour new baby consultation offers encouragement
and direction to overcome breastfeeding challenges and help you reach your
personal goals in breastfeeding your child. During a visit our experienced
lactation consultant:

Takes your complete history.

Weighs your baby (at home).

Observes a complete breastfeeding session.
-
Offers a written care plan to correct any feeding issues as sore nipples,
positioning and latch problems, low milk supply, inadequate infant weight
gain as well as more complex problems.
After the visit
-
Follow-up care by monitoring and assessing progress and revisiting the
care plan.

Report is sent to your physician.

Insurance reimbursement form is provided.
Private Prenatal Breastfeeding Instruction:
This one hour instructional session presented in the privacy
of your home is designed to teach parents about breastfeeding before the
baby arrives. preparation reduces anxiety and can provide the confidence
necessary that results in a happy and successful breastfeeding mother and
baby. The topics included:
